Kasak looks off. Not very impressive and continues taking injury time. Something is going on with him

The constant stoppages in Kasak matches are extremely concerning. I don’t know what’s going on - I don’t know if anyone knows what is going on. Awful situation.
I assume Kasak has been medically cleared to wrestle, from a concussion perspective, or he wouldn't be competing. And not watching, but I didn't see any post indicating that he was in concussion protocol.

More Penn State connections make the semis

Tyler Kasak gutted his way through a 7-6 decision over former N.C. State All-American Ed Scott by decision, 7-6. The Nittany Lion needed numerous medical stoppages during the 70-kilogram quarter to deal with a bloody nose. He is into the semifinals, where he'll face Virginia Tech's Caleb Henson, who redshirted during the 2025-2026 college season after winning a 149-pound NCAA title the year before.

Kasak joins Beau Bartlett, who took out Vito Arujau, Marcus Blaze, Kyle Dake, who beat Cade DeVos by decision, 3-0, and Luke Lilledahl as the Penn State connections to make tonight's semifinal round so far.

In other news, Evan Wick took out William Henckel in a 79-kilogram quarter, by decision, 5-4 sending him to the consolation bracket.

I assume Kasak has been medically cleared to wrestle, from a concussion perspective, or he wouldn't be competing. And not watching, but I didn't see any post indicating that he was in concussion protocol.
Kasak must have a broken nose or something. If any of those stoppages were questionable for concussion. Nick would have thrown in the towel.

That’s the confusing part. Medical staff has to be extremely perplexed. They can’t be so incompetent. By Kasak’s expressions, you’d think he was wrestling with a migraine out there.
