I’m fairly confident Stokes camp puts out false information because he loves the attention. He is the type of player with a huge ego and wants to be larger than life. That can go either way for his career, you harness it properly and you are a star, you don’t and you flame out. I still believe he makes a decision this week.

Oh yeah, this dude is getting his rocks off on the attention and he is going to keep pouring gas on the flames until the gas runs out. It's all a game to him.
He's known where he's going to go for months.

I think you’re correct. Most of the attacks on Tubby were mostly basketball related (plow/mule offense, ball line defense, can’t get 5 stars, etc.) and usually started with “I know he’s a good man, but ….”

Where Tubby really started losing fans was around recruiting and his rambling non answers after games. Fans want hope. Pope has those issues plus he comes off as quite odd. His behavior after those early blowouts created a huge wtf from fans and he probably won't ever overcome that.

There was a time when he did put out some very good information. He was on top of the Marshall Moses debacle and the AJ Stewart mess. Having said that, I haven't seen KSR get much of anything right in a long, long time. I wish that they had the connections they once had but they simply don't. So they seem to be guessing at everything or trusting bad sources.

Looking at the players UK has not contacted makes me think the Kentucky coaching staff thinks they're getting Stokes. I hope they are right for once instead of getting played.

I'd say it's more likely that they are all in on one kid and if he does what many of us thinks he will (KU), Pope will be shat out of luck.

I didn’t change my goal post. My first comment was they both suck so it’s impossible to
change an opinion on my first statement. You just are clueless who your attacking and want Pope
to work so you’re crying about everyone that calls a spade a spade.

Of course I want Pope to work. He is the coach at UK. If he is not more successful in the near future he will be gone and I won't be whining about that fact if that is how it goes down. He has only been here two seasons and has dealt with difficult circumstances so far and has still clearly done a better job than BCG did in his two seasons. BCG most likely would have gotten more time to prove himself if not for his shameful extracurriculars. Saying Pope has come up short of what we expect here is not the same as saying he sucks.

I have explained this to you multiple times and in different ways to help you understand.
