Geep and Aurich each with a first rounder last night. Always great to see a coach produce a first rounder, but also always brings up the chicken or egg question...

Did the coach make the player or the player make the coach?

Uncle Donnie produced zero draft picks total during his 4+ years here

So, I certainly agree with this
Of course, these two new coaches will not be around long enough.

Either this entire staff is gone after this year

Or

These two new guys will jump ship after this year if things go "well"

I would realistically like to keep a coach or two depending on if they do well. I think this season is Holgerson's last if he does poorly.

I don't need to hash Rhule's situation again.

Geep and Rob give me a little hope.

Evans might get drafted. Pritchett also. Not saying that’s because of Donovan. Maybe it’s in spite of him. I don’t know. Maybe our evaluation of high school O linemen has been the problem. I would defer to what gets said by former players off the record. The NFL has a way of finding talent in guys even if their coaching and technique has been poor. The NFL isn’t liking what we’ve had to offer.

Donovan had Pritchett riding pine for 1/2 the season. Any success Pritchett has can be attributed to Geep.

Pritchett at times couldn’t remember the snap count. Him sitting wasn’t just Donnie’s decision. I believe Dana had a say in that.

The stuff going around the new OL coaches have been saying about uncle Donnie’s technique belongs in the Smithsonian

just perfect

that worthless fatfuck had no clue what he was doing
This is standard fare for coaches. The previous guys had no clue, we know everything, we are best, and then when are are 5-7 they will say it is because of lack of talent or previous coaches. I would prefer coaches who take their 4x surgeon, 12x police officer, 20x teacher salaries and stfu.
