Now it’s all inclusive. So that’s cheap if it includes all inclusive.

I wish we could get our normal seats for that price. We are not planning on going this year. But I would go if we could sit where we want at that kind of money.

I say this with the utmost sincerity. Who would want to spend a Saturday in that slum? Better experience watching it at home or casino anyways.

I paid $20 for my first Derby (infield) in 1996. I bet $10 on Grindstone (my first bet ever) and became hooked.

The face value for seats directly from Churchill now exceeds the secondary market for several locations around the track.
I paid $20 for my first infield trip too.

Unfortunately, it's not really a slum anymore. Derby is for the rich folk now and Churchill Downs is basically a casino now. You should go. Sounds like your kind of fun. No slummng allowed.

I’m referring to the surrounding area. Not Churchill downs itself. It’s always been decently maintained. But it’s in a crap area

Yeah, it sucks looking at smoke shows dressed to the nines while drinking juleps with your boys.

Now they are starting the Oaks at 8:40 due to their greed. Screw Churchill Downs. Big restaurants are closing . This will affect the big Derby Galas. I hope people stay away from CD. What a joke. Greed, greed.
