I don’t believe that . I think it will be a four to five man guard rotation with 2 ball handlers being on the court at the same time .Rippey now is 3rd behind Cayden and Foster
I wouldn’t be surprised if Rippey transfers. Seems like that’s a possibility.I don’t believe that . I think it will be a four to five man guard rotation with 2 ball handlers being on the court at the same time .
Not happeningI wouldn’t be surprised if Rippey transfers. Seems like that’s a possibility.
I’ve heard that before. I will wait to see what happens. Money talks. There are a lot of schools that will pay him a lot of money. Not happening
Where’s he going ? His dad already said he’s more than willing to do a year of learning but imo, him being at Duke allows less stress on Foster and Cayden as well as Howard and Blackwell . How do you combat a five headed snake back court with up front depth and athleticism? What’s your game plan for two back courts that when one comes in there is no drop off from the subs? This and we still don’t know about Sarr!I’ve heard that before. I will wait to see what happens. Money talks. There are a lot of schools that will pay him a lot of money.

Easy to say now. It’s been a few hours. Let’s see in a few days after his agent gets to talking with schools.Where’s Icyup at? Lol
Is that you, Michael Malone?Easy to say now. It’s been a few hours. Let’s see in a few days after his agent gets to talking with schools.
Who knows? I just don’t trust he won’t look if he gets a nice offer. It’s going to be a struggle for him to get more than 10-12 mins a game. He will be sitting a lot.Where’s he going ? You call me a troll because I’m right and you don’t want to admit it. I told you guys Rippey wouldn’t start. You all told me I was wrong. Now I see all the responses on this thread with people backtracking so fast they left marks on the road. Like I said. Let’s wait a couple days and see.icyup is honestly probably just Duke Guru’s idiotic 2nd account. Those unc/Kentucky trolls sure do love themselves some Duke basketball since the fans of those 2 programs don’t know what relevancy in Men’s College Hoops looks like any more.
continue having those double digit loss seasons Tar Heels and Wildcats, those seasons look great on you!!!
IMO, he won’t . No guard will be averaging 30 minutes a game . It’s just April. No one can say what minutes who will be getting at this point . The roster ain’t even set . The only person I would pencil even as a starter is big Pat . I thought Rippey would be but he’s going to have to compete either way .Who knows? I just don’t trust he won’t look if he gets a nice offer. It’s going to be a struggle for him to get more than 10-12 mins a game. He will be sitting a lot.
Who’s saying he won’t start ? No one even knows if Duke isn’t going to use a three guard line up . Even if Sarr comes back . Right now the possibilities are endless . I’m not back tracking my statement on him starting I’m simply saying everyone is going to have to compete for a starting spot .You call me a troll because I’m right and you don’t want to admit it. It’s possible we run 3 guards some. That will help with minutes. The problem is the 3 is also stacked, so there aren’t a lot of minutes than can go to one of the guards. Maybe a few?IMO, he won’t . Duke is not stacked at the 3 . Who right now is the SF? Williams ? I don’t think you’re looking at the season as a whole . If anything Scheyer has seen how injuries play a role and I do think both Cayden and Foster don’t play 30 minutes or even 28 a game throughout the season . Maybe 20-25 minutes possibly. If Duke goes fast then you need every guard fresh . A course this won’t account for close games but Duke is setting up to play fast . Even if Sarr was to return he’s the only true SF . Howard can guard the 3 but he’s a sg. At this moment if Duke rolls with the team they have the SF spot is where the minutes will be divided. It’s possible we run 3 guards some. Assuming Blackwell gets slim type minutes, we’re looking at maybe 52-58 minutes for three guys. I have a hard time imagining that Caleb and Cayden will see their minutes decrease. Just doesn’t make sense. That leaves 6-12 minutes for Rippey. I think 8-12 feels right for him. I’d expect Bryson to get the same. If they play well those minutes can increase.
Hope he does. Very athletic but extremely raw.Again, Jon isn't done. So glad to get another player back. Sarr is going to make a huge leap.
Oh yeah, he is. But he has all the tools and talent to do it. I'm so excited for next year. Now we need that starting 4.Hope he does. Very athletic but extremely raw.
He really started to nail the corner 3 towards the end of the year. He needs to be dribbling all offseason but I think he’ll thrive with their up and down style this yearHope he does. Very athletic but extremely raw.
Cam Boozer. Now we need that starting 4.
Maybe he oversleeps and wakes up past midnightCam Boozer.
I'll show myself out.
Cam Boozer.
I'll show myself out.
Then why are you getting involved? You’re inserting yourself into a conversation that you weren’t part of.You are talking about others icyup.
I’ve never once stated Rippey Jr was going 2 start.
dont come here making stuff up.
also, keep up with what Rippey’s dad is saying on social media. He is saying they are on board with Rippey Jr. Learning this season and the Team Goal is to go Win #6.

Why are you here?Serious question. You’ve made no friends and haven’t posted anything outside of being confrontational to everyoneSarr. We’ve know for a while he was back. I forgot this is the free board.
