This sounds like the B1G refs treatment of PSU every time we play OSU or UM.

It's called bull fighting which means the bull has to win at least once in a while.
The bull dies every single time. Sometimes the matador joins the bull.

Bulls fight once, and only once. The theory is that the bulls will be learning throughout their first fight and if they’re allowed to fight a second time they’ll be all that much smarter, all that much deadlier, can’t have that.

I've always thought that once the bull gores the matador, he should casually walk over and piss on him while he's on the ground.
