I posted about him yesterday in the options at the 4 thread. These are all targets we’ve been in contact with. He is my least favorite of them but still an NBA level prospect.
Well Mark always starts contacting recruits from the bottom up ....
Of course it's hard to tell from these videos but he does have a nice looking outside shot.
He's actually a nice looking prospect, much better than most of the 3rd tier PFs we're looking at here at home. This fella actually has a beautiful shot and might end up being the most reliable 3 point shooter on the team next to Kam. He also appears to have quickness, athleticism and a good handle for a big. But as with most international players, the question mark is whether he has the toughness/physicality to go toe-to-toe with the kind of big guys he will face in the SEC. Our style and the international style are vastly different animals and it seems the international guys are timid when it comes to contact.

22 years old already and even played some SF in international comp. Have to kick those tires as we need some length at the 4.

Yes he is a 3/4 and shoots the 3 mid 30s% wise. I’d love to land him. A few options I like more internationally but to land someone I’d take him!
If you had him and McBride anchoring the 4 spot would you feel satisfied?
I wouldn’t say satisfied but it would be a big improvement over last year. Not where we need to be though.
If Ousmane Ndiaye is as good as his potential shows he’d be a bigger get than Freeman would’ve been IMO. He’s a future NBA draft guy, so his ceiling is well above most other options. It’s all about does the game translate.

If its the 4-5th best position tadem, yes. That implies landing a big fish at the 3 and medium + fish somewhere else to play in the Kam-Hawthorne ability range.
Still think we’ll need someone to blow up to and be an excellent team to be in the range of what we expect.
