The 1937 team was 6-1-2. Wins over Minny, ISU Misery, Indiana, Iowa (28-0) and KSU. Loss to Pitt. Tied OU and Kansas. End of season AP ranking 11th.

Today there is far more competition for that entertainment dollar. Most of us have been to other venues. We also compare going vs staying in the comfort of our own home. Viewing at bar etc. Or the multitude of other entertainment options. back then much different equation and no television.

Let me guess, you watched a Husker game at a local Lincoln bar while Frost was the head coach...and he was actually at the bar sitting next to you instead of at the game.
