Maybe Stein needs another TE. 
Pope and staff finally made a wise decision and are now allowing Stein to show the players around for the basketball team as well as negotiating all further deals! Thank goodness! 
Supposedly his camp is asking for $2.7M, Wichita State and Sienna are heavily invested as well, so he’s not a given.

He comes from JMU. A good football school , now in Sunbelt conference, where Bridgeforthstadium has only 25k capacity…..

I would like if he joins UK. He will provide hard working and toughness And decent shooting and scoring for PF. He can also pass, so he can fit well with what MP asks from the bigs.

The guy looks like he has some bulk on him, guys are just bouncing off him, handles the ball well, decent 3pt shooter good at creating his own shot we can use a player like him.
Agreed. This the same board that trashed Thiero when he was signed by Cal. I don't trust the basketball evaluation of this board, to be honest.
Pope was clearly recruiting him as a backup. The visit was planned when Freeman was expected to commit.
He could help filling in off the bench possibly. Mo dioubate is ranked 104th and McBride is ranked 205th in the portal. Hopefully he fits with popes system, but at this point we gotta start getting more talent. The SEC is going to be good this coming season and from a talent standpoint we’re way behind.

Yes he did. JMU didn’t have a good year but he was probably one of their best players. He improved every year and now he is a senior. If NCAA passed the new 5 years eligibility he could have 2 more years.
if he drops few pounds and gets in better shape his mobility will improve which wouls help especially on defensive side.
He started plying in college with BG.
He wants to see what a real coach would look like to evaluate his decision. Imagine if we don't land him.

Ask 5-star Quade Green and some 4-Star bench piece who is the reigning NBA MVP about rankings.
He looked pretty mobile to me so I say no to dropping weight we need a banger even though he's just 6"5, guys like him are hard to play against they can maul you with their body on drives and for rebounds without fouling by creating space with their bulk.

I agree that we need far more talent and I also agree that the rankings are important. However, there are times when the rankings don't accurately reflect a player's value. Admittedly, the rankings are fairly accurate most of the time.
Thiero was a 3 star when he originally signed and this board was merciless in their bashing. I honestly think McBride is better than his ranking but I guess we won't know for sure until the new season gets underway. Regardless of how good he is, Pope still have a mountain to climb.
247 had thiero as a 4 star. I looked it up because I couldn’t remember what he was ranked back then. I do remember people doubting him though you’re right about that

As I recall, he was a 3 star but moved up soon after he signed. I could be wrong about the timing but I do remember that he was a 3 star when he was being talked about on this board.
He probably was on one of the recruiting sites. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if one of them had him as a 3 star.
We’re laughing stock of the entire state of college basketball. Even some of our own fans are enjoying it.
You don't think one should simply check out a ranking list, maybe cross reference for 3 point percentage, and call it a day?

I must have looked at what he was ranked as a transfer because that said 247 had him as a three star. My mistake
I've never understood the obsession with always insisting players are shorter than they actually are. He is listed 6'8".
