Dude, What the Actual? This depresses me. I watched him warmup a lot and that shot was so smooth. The one game he played he scored 7 in 10 minutes. I hate this.

Losing Uggy is a big disappointment. He passes the ball really well, has good shooting touch for big guy and seems pretty well at screening and spacing- positioning. The ND game- he looked impressive. Yes, hes been injured- but would have been a good depth piece even if fairly healthy. We need another big and another backup combo guard. Im not sure I trust Kapke, Ormer, Curtis as our only three bigs with experience.

OTOH- I really like Ormer, Leonhardt and even Kapke so far. Look to be very solid fits for Fred. Will be anxious to see what those two very highly ranked freshmen will do this coming season.

Nebraska saved his eligibility by not playing him and this is how repays Nebraska . Kind of a dick move .
I'm okay with admitting none us of really know what's going on. Did he leave because he wants more money and the market for bigs is crazy? Is he still hurt and Fred wants to move on? Maybe Fred thought he could've nutted up and played last year when we needed him, I've heard a few mentions that his attitude wasn't the greatest. But I'm still bummed.

Well guess he is not on the team now. Need another true guard and an athletic big like everyone else. Ha

Definitely wanted Uggi to stay. Also hard to be terribly upset about losing him. He has started one full season in 4 years of CBB. Hard to know if he would have actually contributed.

But is that what we really want? Sure it would be nice having Lawrence back for another year but that would mean everyone else potentially gets a bunch of guys back as well. I don’t think I want to root for a ton of college guys to get the option to come back at age 22/23 when it only nets us Lawrence and Blue.

Oscar Cluff was at South Dakota State before Purdue. He did pretty well for the Boilers this year.

For reference, Cluff averaged 17ppg and 12rpg in 28 minutes/game at SDSU. Then averaged 10 and 7 at Purdue.

Wilkinson averaged 14 and 6 playing 24 minutes/game at SDSU. He should be able to give us a solid 15-20 minutes off the bench each game.
