Project much?Thank you for that nonsensical, obtuse, circular disposition.
This is a world team. There is no "preparation for future years of freestyle" - that's not how PSU became what it is. These are competing to make World Teams, including multiple in a year. Pretty dang unique and cool. And your statement that Mirasola is waiting for Snyder to leave makes no sense, when he's been very clear that he wants to compete until he's 45. (just saying that retirement isn't anywhere close to happening).
I'm not ignoring the field. Just saying that it makes a TON of more sense, considering our World Team process that Mirasola would go 97 at the open considering Snyder isn't in the field, and he definitely knows where he stands with Barr.
Agree…and to demonstrate how competitive I am, I will correct you in emphasizing that Cael has coached his teams to 13 championships out of the last 15.This. You don't go undefeated as a NCAA wrestler and coach a team to 13 championships out the last 16 without being deeply competitive. Cael and staff have been absolutely brilliant getting their wrestlers in the right mindset to achieve those results and not grinding them into dust along the way.
Mack was sitting at Mitchell's table with the family at the PSWC banquet. Hopefully seeing Mitchell's Hodge Trophy will give him a desire to have his own at PSU someday.Think we have a chance?
So as not to exclude our international visitors:FULL COURT PRESS !!!!
They were also two weight classes apart this year so that makes it interestingI think Burton is probably the favorite at the weight but Asher should be right there. I think Asher has really jumped levels. Burton had a decent redshirt year but Asher’s was better I would say

Marcus Blaze is No 3 at 61kg behind Jax Forrest and Seth Gross
Beau Bartlett is No. 7, and Nate Desmond No. 12, at 65kg.
Tyler Kasak is No. 3 at 70 kilograms behind Alec Pantaleo and Caleb Henson.
Joe Sealey is No. 13 at 74kg.
William Heckel is No 8 at 79kg.
Kyle Dake is No. 1 and Rocco Welsh No. 3 at 86 kilograms. Parker Keckeisen splits them.
Josh Barr is No. 1 at 92 kilograms.
Connor Mirasola is No. 6 at 97 kilograms
In the field but not in the preseeds. And no, I do not have a good answer for why at the moment. Though I guess it could mean he won't be competing. Jaron Smith is the last listed wrestler at 125kg and his PIN rating is 300 points lower than Cole Mirasola's per USAW's current pin ratings website: https://www.usawmembership.com/usaw_results/pin_ratingsNo Cole Mirasola?
I like my way better since 13 out of 16 sounds like we lost 3 when we all know that is not true!Haha, I missed adding "seasons" after 16.
Let’s not forget Bernie Traux -I did not know he was still competing.Luke Lilledahl is No. 2 at 57kg behind Spencer Lee.
Marcus Blaze is No 3 at 61kg behind Jax Forrest and Seth Gross

57 is really weak. Lee-Lilledahl finals is almost a given.Luke Lilledahl is No. 2 at 57kg behind Spencer Lee.

It is indeed streaming on FLO.Streaming? Please don't say flo..
61kg is great for Blaze. Desanto, Davino , and Jax all on the same side is about perfect. I know Gross beat Blaze last year but I think that result gets flipped. I definitely think Blaze makes the finals57 is really weak. Lee-Lilledahl finals is almost a given.
61: Blaze gets McGee in the quarters. Also in quarters: DeSanto vs Davino, winner gets Forrest.
65: Gonna find out about 141 Desmond in a hurry, R16 vs Hardy, winner gets Mendez. Bartlett quarters vs Arujau. Also Cruiseliner Nick vs McKenna in the quarters.
Mendez seeded below Valencia is pretty dumb.
70: Kasak vs Ed Scott in the quarters. Henson vs Melvin Miller in the quarters in VT-on-VT crime.
74: Sealey vs Lewan in R16, then Green in quarters. 7 Bearclaw vs Yahya Thomas in R16, then Jacques in the quarters.
Andonian-Carr quarters could be fun, if Andonian gets by Cam Amine.
Lewan seeded ahead of Green and Robb is hilarious.
79: Henckel vs Marsteller in the quarters, winner gets O'Toole. Truax vs Hamiti in the quarters, winner gets Wick.
Real meat grinder of a weight, even with Levi getting a full bye.
86: Dake, Keckeisen, and Welsh are the only real contenders.
92: Barr gets Plott-Macchiavello winner in the semis. Other semi Sinclair vs Cardenas.
97: Connor vs Aiello quarters, winner gets Zillmer.
125: Kerk vs Wood in quarters, winner gets Hendrickson.
With Max McEnelly out of the entries with a late injury, Rocco Welsh is the dark horse in this bracket. Per FLONo McEnelly or Cole in the seeds makes me think they aren’t competing for some reason. It’s the only thing that makes sense
Vegas odds of Lewan being put on the shot clock first vs anyone.57 is really weak. Lee-Lilledahl finals is almost a given.

Folkstyle Lewan and Freestyle Lewan are different people. I was shocked how offensive he's looked the last few times I've seen him in Free.Vegas odds of Lewan being put on the shot clock first vs anyone.
Vegas odds of Lewan being put on the shot clock first vs anyone.
Watching Will Lewan wrestle is the equivalent of watching an 80s NCAA MBB game involving a team playing the Four Corners offense. There’s a reason basketball instituted the shot clock.Vegas odds of Lewan being put on the shot clock first vs anyone.
Not the quote. Idiot.Connor seeded 6th at 97kg.
Probably would've been seeded 7th at 92kg.
Barr #1 at 92kg.
Buchanan #1at 97kg.
Hidlay sitting in Final X at 92kg.
Snyder sitting in Final X at 97kg.
Some genius believes 'a better chance to make the world team this year at 97kg vs 92kg' is more likely the reason Connor is going 97kg.
