It's not stange. Shooters cost money. Size cost money. We don't have the money to get what we really need. So until we and the school do a better job getting donations Holloway has to cobble a roster as he did last year.

I feel everyone's grief, but complaining is not going to help the cause.

Shooters who also defend to Sha's liking cost premium $$. At some point he needs to take a chance on someone from a lower conference who may be a minus athlete but can shoot the crap out of the ball to add another layer to their offense.

In short - you're correct, and it limits the ceiling here but the definition of insanity....

I'd consider a full court press system (get extremely long players, generate turnovers for easy baskets to lessen your shooting deficiencies) or a 2-3 zone that lets you hide guards that lack athleticism.

Seems we could definitely afford "shooters" from lower leagues, but those "shooters" would come without the athleticism, size and/or defensive ability that Sha wants from every spot on the floor. So not willing to make any tradeoff there, either.
No trade offs with him. He has a type, lol.

This is true if we stick to the current socialism strategy of paying everyone on the team roughly the same. With a more unbalanced approach, we could easily afford a stud shooter and a stud PG on an $8 mil budget. Probably not a stud center.

The elephant in the room is do those shooters from lower leagues want to play for Sha? Sha’s offensive sets are not exactly a pleasure to watch and certainly not a place for a player to showcase their offensive skills.

...from a guy(?) who changed screen names and has been hammering away since this time last year. You bring absolutely nothing to the board, not even by accident once in a while.
You have no sources and no value. Everything you say couldn’t be more wrong. You need to read a book about the game of basketball and get some
Basic knowledge. Till then pipe down with your uselessness
