Sorry to say I was totally right about Barnhart. I’ve been wanting him gone since the Rich Brooks job search. I can’t count the number of failures under Mitch.
The officials cheating us out of 2 potential championships and he never said a word. Fans did. Making our game day experience for 12 year old kids. Worst football planning in the SEC. Failure to get on board with alcohol sales, NIL, collectives etc.. He took the vacated season with CRod and smiled. Tennessee would have sued one second after and won. The sham retirement job is a kick in the face for the fans whose program he destroyed. I Absolutely hate him for what he did to UK. So I’ve been crying for for like 10 years. I’ve wondered where the hell people are to hold this man accountable. They go nuts over rooferee. But the real villain guy that never go to bat for our school for our programs who for 25 years we miss three tournaments worse losing season in 100 years.. so yeah you see Barnhart give that guy a piece of your mind. I kinda of disagree. Mitch is a dipsh@@ I think we all agree but he hasn't done anything to keep Pope from being successful. He took the job and he is terrible by all accounts. Guy, I thought we have all realized now that JMI is not the issue. The "The Athletic" article explained it.

Many other top schools get recruits while having contracts with JMI, or JMI like, companies.

That was a scapegoat.

UK football is doing fine with JMI.

Thankfully, even an internal lame-duck hire is better than Mitch. I know the AD job has a lot of responsibility, but I still feel like if you just get out of the way, youll be fine. But Mitch couldn't even do that. Just support the programs that make money and that fans love. Do what you can to help garner wins and success. And dont be a road block or a hindrance.

Ive never even heard of a college fanbase or school being at such odds with their AD. It really is unheard of. You'd have to really suck at your job for the fans to want to run you out of town.
