I said before that even with Freeman and Stokes, we were likely looking at a middle of the road team in a loaded SEC next year. Without those two we’ll probably be fighting LSU and South Carolina for last place.

In an era of players wanting to get to the NBA, UK has an AD who thinks he is Andy Griffith in Mayberry and hired Barney Fife as a coach with little to no experience in coaching pros. It’s not the era Barnhart wants it to be no matter how hard he tries.

The next AD hire is crucial but I have zero confidence it will be a good hire. UK basketball is at a critical crossroads and the AD needs to understand that fact.
