You have zero solutions to the glacier receding in Montana let alone the cause. You care about where people are. LOL. Where the people aren’t impacts our ******* climate. Where do weather patterns come from? The Oceans. What percentage of our population is living in the large bodies of water? Zero.

So they are receding?

FYI polar sea ice is growing. Mother nature gonna nature.

That is an interesting article. Yesterday I did a light review of the earth's history according to "scientists":

It is 4.5 billion years old (they know this from testing rocks). In the past, it was tilted differently toward the sun and the contienents were arranged differently (just 250 million years ago it was one continent). This caused weather patterns to be different which drove CO2 levels very high and the dinosaur age happened. The continents gradually moved, the earth changed its tilt and eventually an ice age ensued. and so on and so forth.

In your article they make this comment based on "accepted" earth history science:
"Also, remember that we are in the Holocene epoch, a warm geological phase between two glacial advances – one that ended about 10,000 years ago and the next expected to occur some number of thousand years hence. An upward tick in Arctic temperatures shouldn’t surprise us regardless of whether we emit CO2 or not."

I think my ancestors in Arizona are going to have a much better location than people up North when those glaciers arrive.

Texas to the rescue. The great state of Arizona will soon be able to support another 2 million people and bring the advanced semiconductors and copper to the rest of America, plus some phenomenal defense products.

Thanks. Makes sense that the pipeline not only serves Arizona but also California since they are closing their refineries. Unfortunately, California will try to dictate the blends of product that come through the pipeline to meet their regulations and still affect our fuel prices. California is like herpes, it never goes away.

Yes, need to look at what we can grow out here that isn’t as water intensive. Not going to be easy though. Ranchers are already struggling to feed their cattle in that part of the country. Trying to be creative, but many are deciding it’s time to sell.

Buy the properties and cattle for pennies on the dollar and put in the improvements that are available NOW, make yourself a millionaire !

It’s the drought, dummy. Talk to some ranchers in your home state, before they leave.
I told you what to do to become a millionaire.

The vast majority of beaches are made by a small thing: called SAND !

IF prevailing winds AND water currents are the same direction, the sand will move that direction.

We've had these discussions several times in the past:
1. Spring Lake, NJ. Concrete pilings were constructed by the WPA in 1930's. Wood boardwalks were laid/constructed on the pilings. In my lifetime, hurricanes have destroyed the wood sections. The pilings remained and were rebuilt upon. Meanwhile the sand migrates North and increases what is called Sandy Hook. Every 50 or so years the sand is dredged and moved South.
2. Plymouth Rock. Approx 600 years ago, somebody stepped on the rock from a row boat.
Today you could still step from a row boat onto the rock, except it is surrounded by fencing.

Climate change is BS.

Just an FYI, some American glaciers are shrinking in a hurry. But yes, Canada and the Canadian border remain cold.

Yet you can't research or remember my posts advising you that ice and snow ( also called glaciers over eons of time !) that NASA satellites have proven that those areas are EXPANDING on the Earth as NASA maps the World !

Rifles worries about water in Ariz has already been solved by my idea of building desalinization plants in Southern Callie and stopping the flow of Ariz water entirely !

Like Isreal has done !

I don’t care about the poles. I care about the places where people live and where we grow our food. When we start doing that at the poles, or in Canada, I might be more concerned. But those places have low populations and we don’t depend on them for food.

This all started because you said Biden was responsible for high beef prices. Biden is gone and prices aren’t going down. It’s OK to admit you aren’t an expert on everything.

I feel like quite the influencer around here. I have you guys talking about the poles, Canada, cold in Alaska, etc.

Almost through water 101. You guys have almost realized that we have a significant water issue coming our way in the west. Almost.

Except the reasons for high beef prices, high gas prices, high egg prices, and the size of ice covering the North and South regions and regional water shortages.

You either cut Water 101 of slept in your chair.

An expense of $ 12 is all you need for daily drinkable water. Wife, 2 children, you = $ 48 plus sales tax.

Is an "influencer" supposed to be constantly wrong or ill-informed ?
