Softball has horrible weekend in College Station

Lost all three. Had a 6-0 lead in the top of the first on Sunday and gave up 9 in the bottom of the second.

Now 6-12 in the SEC with series left against LSU and Ole Miss. Fell to 11th place in the SEC. What was once a promising season looks like another road regional.

This happens every single season. We are always good enough to make a regional as a 2 seed. We will go 2-2 in the regional, with both losses to the regional host. The SEC is a softball behemoth and we just don’t have the horses to compete at the top level.

From what I know about most softball players….they probably look just like a slump buster for a baseball player. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I hate it because I think Ricketts is a hell of a coach, but we just can't get over the hump in softball.

Worst hitting team I've ever seen and we only have two pitchers again because the others can't do it in SEC play. They're just not good.
