I have given every year pretty much since I graduated.

PS. Just put my check in the mail. Just noticed that they did not have a phone number for me even though students were calling me over the years to ask for contributions. I don't understand how they lose a phone number. Also corrected my email address.

No, they are not having it this year. Instead the person is simply matching the one on one amount to $50K

You did a fabulous job helping these last few years on that Challenge. You have meant so much to the school. Kudos.

Dan - was just wondering can this be used for our current recruiting efforts?
Here's your answer.

The matches are already in the NIL figure of $8M as they will certainly be attained as they are every year. What we donate over that amount would be added to the Men's NIL if deemed by the donors.

If we have a massive effort we can maybe increase our NIL to $9M, but it will take an all out effort by us. If we were Providence, who I think would be a worthy comparison on our fans parts it would be a given. But at SHU, ??????.

I'm in. For people who have never donated or aren't happy with the rules of college basketball, consider making even a $10 donation. Support the team we all follow.

For me, I don't look at it as supporting the current system but supporting the team who I spend hours every week following. Its a small contribution to my favorite hobby and my school.

Just a $10 donation becomes a $50 donation with the match. Then once we hit the match the rest of the money goes to men's NIL as long as you request that when you donate.

I’m in—despite being anointed by @Halldan the “most useless poster on the Trove.”
You attack me unnecessarily on the Trove with your wisecrack comments, I'll respond in kind.

Notice how many people backed you via likes and comments and how many backed me. I usually ignore you because you are not worth my time. But come after me and you'll get the response you got.

I don’t really care—I’m happy to be the board’s Dr. Stockman.

You’re the only one that seems to be getting worked up about this—probably because my legitimate criticism stung, in contrast to your ad hominem attacks.

The post stands for itself on the Trove. No one supported you there which is not surprising.

I am not going to beat a dead horse with someone who adds nothing to that site and now has taken it here to a post asking to support the school. And BTW, no Trove info is to be posted here. That has been made clear over and over again. Do it again and it will be the last time you post on this board.

The thread is now being locked because this subject has nothing to do with the original purpose of it being posted. Today is Giving Day to aid the program, not to give you a forum to continue your nonsense.
