Mo D and Aberdeen came from winning teams. Not worried about that
Are you Confident We Get Freeman?

It generally seems Kentucky has to pay more than other teams.
Yes. Honestly I’m so sad about it all
Kentucky basketball, I’m afraid, won’t recover from the end of Calipari’s tenure to now
I loved Pope as a player and a person
I do not as a coach. It was a terrible hire
I wished we would’ve prioritized Ransik and Goode over Freeman, he’s just way too injury prone, IMO
There are many Power Forwards who would love to play at UK.
Waiting on Freeman is like putting all your eggs in one basket. I would offer two unsigned PF's and take the 1st one who answered. Tell Freeman, that his time is up. It's that simple. Play your 5 best men and get on with the recruiting,

The NCAA caused all this. Its time to get a College Basketball Comissioner. A basketball coach should not be in the possition of begging for kid to toss a round object through an orange hoop. There should be a "cap" on money paid. These kids are no longer amateurs and that has ruined the sport. The NBA shoud stick it. 10$ an hour is a good start to play the game.
If we had $4M besides Stokes money I would offer it to Momcilovic and see if thats enough to pass on the draft
I wonder, too, if any other quality forwards might be lured into the portal before the Tuesday deadline.
They can p iss right off, then. At some point someone wants to play for us (or any school) and just commits because they want to be here. I'm already feeling the kid is just after the bag. 2 year contracts can't get here fast enough
Gonna suck that we missed on Rancik and Freeman. Not many stretch 4s left
Pope getting played again on the recruiting trail? Color me shocked, stunned, and utterly amazed!… Not really, a cave man could have seen this one coming
Pope should have accepted Ranciks commitment, as he is a better fit for Pope's system. I remember when Pitino took a commitment from Jeff Sheppard rather than wait on Ray Allen.
Grave is dug. Pope is now building his own coaching coffin.
Better hope a quality stretch 4 hits the portal last minute.
SMHI think you up the ante for Freeman. You need him. If Pope cares about his time at UK he needs the best guys.
I do’t believe this BS, Yahoo had an article yesterday stating UT was getting ready to likely close out on John Blackwell for $1.9M, don’t see how DF is demanding $4M.
Yep. Some of these dopes fall for anything they read.
He already has to pay Stokes $4 million
Trilly said the SJ people feel confident about landing him fwiw
Never mind. Going to repost what I’d originally said here as a different new thread.

SJ's is desperate too as they need even more guys than we do.
Am I the only one who finds its odd that you can't easily find info on most of these dudes agents? Tried to see who is representing Freeman to see what other guys they represent and if there is any trend there and nope nadda nothing
Freeman ship has sailed. Our 4 spot is going to be absolutely **** next season.
Pope is an absolute trainwreck.
Do people actually take Trilly seriously? He knows nothing more than anyone on this board.
It has become comedic now. Hard to comprehend how someone who is always labeled as being so smart can always look like a buffoon.
This is absolutely false
I would have already moved on to the next option. Freeman is not the caliber of player to be playing games with a blueblood.
It will recover and can do so fast with the right hire. Michigan won 8 games the year before Dusty May. Now they are champs. Just have to make the right hire.
Trouble is nothing good is left at that position right now.
I’d raise it…risky cuz the previous injury history but what other options are there?!
So from what I understand. Freeman wants to be here. But his Agent wants more money?
