I was watching the RBC. He won, but he hit a 39 foot chip on 18th hole... 20 feet.
In his defense that’s water and a golf ball is attracted to water like a Sixpacker is attracted to beer and fried food.

Fitzy literally choked on that chip. He rushed it and he got exposed by not recognizing that he was chipping into the grain. Complete and utter choke job. But I'll give him his due. His second on the first playoff hole (204 yard 4 iron into the teeth of that 2-3 club wind racing off the Calibogue Sound) was CLUTCH. Dude reared up and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. He also savored that giant 17 you he was able to give to those @$$hats chanting "USA." Great win by the Brit.
I thought it was strange he went 6 iron when he wasn't THAT far in front of Fitzpatrick who hit 4. But I think he just meant to hit a lower shot and it sailed on him and the wind did the rest.
