Matty didn’t really deserve to give up that run. This is the best his stuff has looked in a while.
Completely agree … shift sometimes giveth, sometimes it taketh away. That run was due to the shift
X1000 for me. Just play baseball the way it’s supposed to be played. If MLB can do it, so can colleges. Off soapbox.
Tech is just doing a great job of hitting into the holes of the defense. Hard to blame the pitching when most of these balls could be played on with a different alignment.
Would love to see a more conservative take from the box right now. Seems like that’s how we’ve been getting them all weekend,but today the batters seem a bit more aggressive early on.
We’ve swung at a ton of pitchers pitches the last few innings. It’s obvious we’re pressing a little being down. Have to get back to attacking the middle of the zone with our swings.
Yeah, after smoking hot bats first two games, law of averages at work a little here it seems. Need a break
great slow slider to get Advincula swinging, he does not strike out a ton either
I know that catch by Gallagher is considered routine but those dead zone fly balls over the shoulder catches like that never cease to amaze me.
Amazing that our best pitchers this year have been DeCaro, Lynch, McDuffie, Glauber and Rose

Routine, soft ground balls, lazy pop flies. Hitting where they are instead of where they aren’t when there is a shift on. GT guys barely have to move to field the ball.
Our pitching has been pretty good. Batting, fielding, coaching has all been uninspired and lackadaisical.
Meh, sometimes, it’s just the other team that you’re playing that’s also top 5 happens to also be good at baseball
GT defense is giving us no room to breathe. SS has made a couple plus plays on some tough hops today
