Looked like he was fighting the wind and thought he could clear the scoreboard. Fortunately he was OK. The other parachutist in the background chose to abort way earlier.

It was indeed pretty windy in this neck of the woods yesterday. Last half hour of a three hour bike ride into it, with my hr a steady 10 beats above calculated max.

It's VoTech. Be thankful the guy wasn't strapped to a lawn mower engine with giant fan blades (w/ no guard).

If no one got seriously hurt, then it's not a bad accident. More of an embarrassing accident. Potentially bad.
I'm bored with this fascination with JF. I liked him and supported him when he was our coach. He was fired. I'm tired of the back and forth sniping. I wish him well except when we compete with him on the field of play or in recruiting . I'm no longer interested in JF.

This obviously is not James fault nor style. Were he involved, the parachutist would have been the top recruit on his big board. Along with his high school coach, parents and financial advisor. Go big or don’t go at all.

My exact thoughts. The skydiver crashing had nothing to do with JF; I simply began the thread as an interesting occurrence. Lately for some of these posters, any mention of JF or CMC, sets off a need to begin comparisons or throw mud. Their comments ruin many threads.

I’m surprised James didn’t summons a scissor lift to rescue the poor lad on such a windy day. It would be consistent with his clock management abilities.
