They suck at football. I bet that place just collects dust and cobwebs.Aesthetically that's neat. How have they done putting it to use?...............
Lots of programs have fancy-looking modern weight rooms nowadays. Do the kids A. even use it? B. Do they even get anything out of it besides muscles to show off for the ladies once they get to college?
That's what I thought.............

Makes ya wonder how we ever played anything without all this stuff. Actually, we were pretty damn good just playing in our natural bodies and natural strength. No football player in our program lifted weights. In fact, our "weight room" was a closet that had a bar with two coffee cans filled with concrete on each end. That . . . was . . it. And I kid you not. And I'm talking about one of the ten largest high schools in Iowa. Ah, those were the days.
Really? Where did you go to high school if you'd .like to share? I graduated in 77, ( a lifetime ago) at that time the largest high school in Iowa, and we had a pretty solid weight program from soph year on, (only three classes in high school then). We had some weights at Jr high, but it wasn't much.Makes ya wonder how we ever played anything without all this stuff. Well, it opened about two weeks ago so yes it's very "aesthetically neat". As for their old weightroom, it was a dungeon, and they loved it. And it was packed to the gills with male and female athletes every. single. day. for the past 20 years.Aesthetically that's neat. How have they done putting it to use?...............
