That may be but doesn’t speak to #21’s talent, or lack thereof. We shall see.
Yes, actually in an indirect way it does because it would mean that he was in fact more fit to that role than our alternatives. Hopefully that doesn’t happen but it could.

I'm kidding, different defensively, better playerThat may be but doesn’t speak to #21’s talent, or lack thereof. We shall see.
Ogbole will be 26 next season. 26 year old men have no business playing ball against 18 and 19 year old boys. If he still wants to play basketball, he should join a beer league.Unlike most players who seek an extra year, EO graduated in four years (1 JUCO & 3 RU). Why wouldn't the NCAA reward someone who is the definition of a student-athlete? Then again, the NCAA is full of sh*t too.
That's not as bad as playing with grown men at the college level in football. The TE who played 7 seasons for the Ducks, then 2 more for Miami...WTF. How about the MLB at Middle Tennessee going for his PHD during his 8th year in college? He graduated from Temple, then used the loophole to continue at MTSU for another 4.Ogbole will be 26 next season. 26 year old men have no business playing ball against 18 and 19 year old boys. Although I actually agree with you, “college” basketball (and football, of course), are professional leagues now. They might as well remove the so-called requirement to attend classes (there is no way this is being enforced at a lot of schools), as well as any age restrictions. In one respect, CBB is a beer league except the bars supporting them have tons of money, TV contracts and college names.
The age rules will never be in effect by next year and if they it would likely be a phase in period, probably letting kids in school already finish. This is exactly why Pike and the staff parted clean ways. With the new age rules in the pipeline plus the fact that he needs a waiver even within the confines of the current eligibility requirements RU wasn’t in a position to entertain planning around having him as a back up. It’s as simple as that.
Monroe is a different situation (sort of) in that the age parameters could result in him having another year - yes? He’d also project to be a much higher level player so maintaining early contact with him made more sense.
What about Duarte who is 24 years old? Everyone who gets all weak in the knees when Izzo occasionally says something nice about Pike will be very disappointed when he slams him for bringing in this type of player, who left college to go to NBA feeder Overtime elite, and then pro for two years in the DR first league. This is exactly the situation Izzo says shouldn’t be happening. This is exactly why Pike and the staff parted clean ways. I agree, they need to stop all of this garbage. That's not as bad as playing with grown men at the college level in football. The TE who played 7 seasons for the Ducks, then 2 more for Miami...WTF. What about someone who served in the military for 4-6 years and then gets a degree and wants to play a sport? Not okay?I agree, they need to stop all of this garbage.
I played with Bruce Young (28) at Colorado. Serves in the military to 26. After played two years at a JUCO, then 2 at Colorado. What about someone who served in the military for 4-6 years and then gets a degree and wants to play a sport? Not okay?
I’d think that whatever his deal is would be contingent on eligibility. Would make no sense otherwise. We didn’t “need” him. What about Duarte who is 24 years old? Military and Religious exceptions ( like going on a religious mission ) need to be put in place to cover age limits. What about someone who served in the military for 4-6 years and then gets a degree and wants to play a sport? Not okay?
You shouldn't even be allowed to be a fan. What ? Ain’t no such thing as an easy bucket for him even if he is alone in a gym.

Deshawn was a solid rebounder for his size, but still only 6'7. Would love a legit 6'9 forward.DeSawn Freeman would be great on this roster at PF
