Bases loaded, no outs followed by two strikeouts. Thought we were done. Awesome, dramatic walk off homer!
Yep, I was wondering why we didn’t bunt bases loaded and no outs to get the run in and tie it. Worked out anyway though.

I see that the start of today’s game is 11:00. That’s an early start. Hopefully they can take another one against Vandy.

I have listened or watched almost every inning this season.

The team is really underperforming my expectations to date. Cleaver (especially) and Harris have been very inconsistent, most of the pen hasn’t been reliable. Outside of Lawrence, Bell, Brown, and Tharnish, the hitting has been a let down too. I have liked Van Cleave’s talent all season and am all for giving him (and fellow FR Cloud more playing time). Cerny (battled through injuries) and Hindle haven’t played to expectations at all. This team needs a spark to turn things around to the point they can host. Maybe the HR is it.

What is wrong with Hudson brown? Really missing his bat. With him out van cleave is crucial because he has so much raw power. Cerny has to sit hes been awful at the plate as has Marcy. Cleaver id be all for moving to the bullpen as a long reliever for 1 of the starters who might go out early one game. He’s really struggling and maybe coming in later will reset his mind. There is still time to get back on track. Rpi is strong so have room to move up and be a host or even national seed if we do. Tyler bell has been strong but he has to start swinging the bat more and not watching so many right down the middle.

First report was that Brown missed last week because of illness but now I am not so sure. Absolutely need him back. Cerny just hasn’t gotten into a groove since missing so much. Don’t know if it’s rust or if the hammy is still lingering. Tough situation. At some point, you wonder if he’s a sunk cost with the viable alternatives available. With Tharnish being the only reliable outfielder (Schwartz has a lot of promise and I sense doing better but still inconsistent), I am all for giving Van Cleave more chances. He had a big multi RBI double early in season but his opportunities have been limited. Seems impatient and pressing, both of which seem understandable and correctable. More ABs and the greater selectivity that comes should help tremendously. You’re right, the team still has time. And I think I agree on Cleaver. Maybe a little time in the pen would help him. Bennett was very good last year as starter for WKU.

New starter today finally. Hoping cleaver is cool with it and don’t get down on himself. I am glad we finally put Lawrence back at 2nd. Hindle can’t play there and Lawrence bell in the middle is elite. Hoping we can finally get off the strikeout bus and start hitting again. Also I have always loved Ming’s aggressive base running but we have to be smarter while we are struggling. Bell I think was safe at home last night but that was a killer. Excited for today. Need a series win bad.

According to the radar, it looks like they will get the game started before the rain rolls in.

Can’t throw strikes. Unreal how often our pitchers forget how to. Good thing nothing else to do today.

Ming has to clean up the running. This team don’t have the speed of some others or the iq.

Postseason play is almost gone if we lose this series. Would need some big wins down the stretch. This is a horrible series loss.
