Nice!! Huge hole filled. Will have 2 years of eligibility. Maybe 3 if he gets a medical.

Seems like hes staying at stanfordMy guess is Garvin is not a option anymore.
He's staying at Stanford so is Knox .My guess is Garvin is not a option anymore.
Hoping he goes back to Stanford like Knox, heavy implications that he will. I believe the only rumored one not to come back is Norman. My guess is Garvin is not an option anymore.
He was a 165 his 1st year then went 157 and got hurt and then he decided to not cut much and went 174 now he's realized he's a 165Maybe I missed it but why didn't Schubert go 165 this past season? Sooners didn't have much there.
Peyton Keller was at 65 who transfered there from Ohio after an all American season at the beginning of the season he was thought pretty highly ofMaybe I missed it but why didn't Schubert go 165 this past season? Sooners didn't have much there.
And hes got 2 years which is awesome!Carter is a phenomenal fit. No brainer addition that should absolutely thrive in our room.
Wrestled PK Rd 2 and wrestled him tough. Rd12 finisher this year at 174. Beat some AAs during the season. More impressive when you consider he thinks he was up at the wrong weight. Doesn’t appear to score too many points, but seems to be a winner for the most part. And a good culture fit. Training with Caliendo, PK, Arnold, and Angelo should do wonders for him. Not predicting him to be a finalist by any means, but I think AA (hopefully even cracking top 4) is the expectation.Don't know a lot about him but I'm getting a positive vibe from this thread. Podium potential????
He never was.My guess is Garvin is not an option anymore.
I believe he may be eligible for a med read alsoAnd hes got 2 years which is awesome!
He never was.
I didn’t even notice this, Greta catch. He will definitely be eligible for a medical redshirt. So technically, he has 3 years.I believe he may be eligible for a med read also
Im not sure the medred is a done deal but would ne nice. Can JBach go 157 Next seasonI didn’t even notice this, Greta catch. He will definitely be eligible for a medical redshirt. So technically, he has 3 years.
Wherever Joe Bachmann goes, he can move up or stay at.
Mai think Bachmann will be 165, so maybe after 2 years he moves up to 174.
And they seem like very low maintenance guys Crookham has done very well on the academic side of things and the flo guys were raving about the kinda guy he is/means to a practice room its also nice they are not just one year rental guys as well!If portal season were to end today I would consider this a job well done. Filled two holes with multi year options both of which should/could be high AA’s.
For as much crap as our coaching staff has gotten this past year, ya can’t really complain about the past few weeks.
Now let’s keep the momentum rolling and get/stay healthy for next season.
Will be interesting to see what weight Joe and Amato level out at. Hope 165 and 157. I know we should be going after high level 2028 recruits who will be big enough to replace Gabe and Angelo.I didn’t even notice this, Greta catch. He will definitely be eligible for a medical redshirt. So technically, he has 3 years.

Say what? Look where the needle started. We just plugged in a kid who will be scoring team points in March.Welcome aboard and hope he does well in the Black and Gold.
That said, from a way outside the room perspective, TNT aren’t setting their talent acquisition targets high enough. Pulling in a target with a low bonus point track record, doesn’t move the needle much.
You can only get what's available. This is where PSU scoring 170 points is warping perspectives. It demands that every acquisition be a top 3 finisher or it's a bad move. Bottom line, Iowa had a huge hole at 165 and they filled it with the best available guy....you have to deal in reality, not what you ideally want it to be.Welcome aboard and hope he does well in the Black and Gold.

This. Even look at last year. Peterson was the highest ranked transfer the entire season and finished the 2nd highest behind Volk. Bailey was the highest placing transfer at 141. Williams was the 2nd highest ranked transfer behind Zerban entering the postseason. Endene was the 2nd highest ranked transfer behind Elam before his issue. It’s unfortunate 2 of the guys couldn’t make the finish line, but Iowa got the best class they could for their needs. It was just unfortunate there weren’t better guys to get.You can only get what's available. This is where PSU scoring 170 points is warping perspectives. By good guys, are you referring to the team that molests their on teammates? Just making sure we are own the same page.If Schubert beats out Sealy he would be 4th string on the good guys behind Mesenbrink, Duke, and James on the GOOD GUYS ROSTER.
