BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — The FBI’s office in Pittsburgh has issued a response to 12 News following a SWAT situation Friday morning in Bridgeport that its officers were on-scene for.
According to FBI Pittsburgh Public Affairs Specialist Bradford Arick, the incident involved law enforcement conducting “an authorized federal search warrant” at the Bridgeport residence, adding that there was no threat to public safety.
Arick added that due to the investigation being ongoing, the FBI is unable to release any additional info at this time. 12 News will bring you more details when we receive them.
