He did but then UCONN got Mahaney. Brea is Pope’s biggest recruiting win. All the big boys wanted him. He’ll need to pull off more of these types.

I think when he signed -- if I'm remembering correctly, Brandon Garrison's announcement came out of nowhere. Nobody was talking about him coming to UK.

I think Pope doesn't let it be known about some of the players he's pursuing. And the only way we know who he's recruiting is, and so we only become aware of it when (either/both someone in the media or the players themselves) others post it.
