He committed to Penn State blue. He'd look in Seton Hall Blue.
Wilcher is cheaper. Is Wilcher better than Simpkins?
If this was year 1 of the Sha era, I'd agree. I think we need to set that precedent. We're staring 5 years of no tournament in the face. Do what you gotta do to make the tournament. Assemble the best team you can at this point. Take pride and moral victories out of the equation at this point. Also, once a player enters the portal, we should be done with him. Don't continue to get used, no shopping our final offer. This might not be a very popular opinion but stick to your guns.
Maybe not as bad as many think. Getting two quality PF's might help and they can play in the middle if they have the size and talent. It would cost less but clearly having Hines return would have been better. But not at the cost he is asking $4M-$5M.Just saying we need to get 2 centers to replace Payne and Hines. That is big bucks and a chunk out of our NIL budget if you want to get kids who are just average or effective at all.
We are in deeper trouble than any of you can imagine.
Do we know what the "eligibility issues" were?
We could do worse than a MAAC rookie of the year.Wow lol

Bringing in PF to play the post/center position is not going to bring success and not going to make them happy or want to come here. I can see the conversation: Yes come to SHU and although you are a PF when you come here you will be turned into an undersized center. That will not go well. We tried that with Payne and by the end of the season he was not performing well.Of course, but regarding the Pirates it might be better cost wise to bring in multiple PFs and have them play the 4-5 positions.
Then concentrate on swings and guards, hopefully with height.
Our “answer” is a kid who was ineligible (in this era of cbb!)..again wow lolWe could do worse than a MAAC rookie of the year.
All I found after a quick search was a Manhattan announcement in Oct 2025 that he was dealing with an eligibility issue "through no malfeasance of his own" . Was allowed to practice and travel.
Was MAAC Rookie of the Year as well.
I can't remember the last time a kid from any school, in any sport, was academically ineligible. I assumed NIL rules forbid itI can’t think of any other reason but his grades or test scores. How else do you miss an entire season healthy in this day and age of no rules?
We cannot have two skinny 6'8 kids like Will Sydnor playing the PF and C spots.Maybe not as bad as many think. Getting two quality PF's might help and they can play in the middle if they have the size and talent. It would cost less but clearly having Hines return would have been better. But not at the cost he is asking $4M-$5M.
The implication is that they’re so skinny they can’t even grow a mole on their ***.We cannot have two skinny 6'8 kids like Will Sydnor playing the PF and C spots.
I’ll take one skinny kid at those positions if he can play. This is where we’re shopping. We cannot have two skinny 6'8 kids like Will Sydnor playing the PF and C spots.
Yea, one for PF spot. Not CenterI’ll take one skinny kid at those positions if he can play. This is where we’re shopping.
New Jersey's a small state. He moves in, it might not tip over. The implication is that they’re so skinny they can’t even grow a mole on their ***.
It wasn't injury.
He just recently hit the transfer portal after sitting out last season due to injury. But in his freshman season at Manhattan, he had a really good year in 2024 averaging 13.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game on 45.1% shooting from the field.
Ginny Sac had a 95lb mole removed.....from her ***!!The implication is that they’re so skinny they can’t even grow a mole on their ***.
We need a 95lb cash donation to help fund our NIL.Ginny Sac had a 95lb mole removed.....from her ***!!
I knOw where to look if we cant find SPK.Ginny Sac had a 95lb mole removed.....from her ***!!
