Talk about upside and projection, Wilkins has it. Still, he's more of a PG for me at this point, but I think his trajectory is as a CG. But don't read that in any way to suggest that I don't want UK to land him. I would love what Wilkins (or Jalen Cox or Trevan Leonhardt) would bring to the roster. Still, I would like to see UK to land another dynamic scoring 2G as well (e.g., Cruz Davis, Paul McNeil, or a few others that are still available and some I probably don't even know exist).

You have to get a true stretch 4 if we miss on Freeman go for the top ones need a SG McNeil or Able from Nc St I like Jake Hall for a shooter piece. Fielder from Boise as a back up 4/5 the rankin kid could be a good add as well but more of a split starter
Hawthorne is one I will be excited about this year. Reminds me of a poor man’s Wagler from Illinois. Not saying he will be as good but in that slim reeper body type. And that fact that he went through last years team experience and is still all in…I love that. He wants to be great in that UK uni.

I’ve thought since yesterday that he & diallo would be the targets after the rob fiasco, and don’t sleep on Hawthorne. Those around lex seem to think this kid could break out next season & be a very very pleasant surprise.
Family friends that live in Lex I know, no insider info just people they talk to or maybe they read it on here lol. But I’m always curious if he was showing that much potential and promise then why did we redshirt him last year???
I watched the UConn -vs- Furman tournament game, Wilkins hit like 4 or 5 threes & for a while into the 2nd half I thought they were gonna win. They wore down because the starters played the whole game.
