This guy couldn’t find the floor at Santa Clara and was just fine in his lone season in the MAAC. I am skeptical MSU was all that interested. I can’t fathom he’s any more than a warm body for us, and we lost most of our team.
I like the pickups so far.
They have decent stats, they are experienced.
I understand the concerns about mid majors. For every 1 that thrives when transfering to a power conference there's probably 3 or 4 who do not. But we have the money we have. And we need many bodies.
Last year we hit targets that were, on paper, good gets. In the end they were not. So let's hope the staff gets it right this year in getting a group with good chemistry and character. I think that's the key. Otherwise you can even spend more than (potentially) anyone else and have terrible results - looking at you Indiana.
