Have we tried posting job openings for the roster positions yet? And let the players reach out to us instead of us trying to ram a square peg into a round hole over and over?
Like:
Wanted. Starting Point Guard for the University of Kentucky Basketball team. No experience needed, some experience is a bonus. Starting salary of $3 Million a year (negotiable).
That way we at least possibly have players who WANT to sign with us that we can sort through. Recruiting at UK should not be this difficult.

Like, why not put out there that we're looking for an athletic pass-first PG who can also defend, here's our number, call us. That way, we'd never have to poach or get in trouble. Were just posting a job opening. If your player is happy with their situation then they likely wont call us.
