I think the JMI has things in it that are scaring away kids, like, there could be a clause to withhold money if they do not play a certain amount of games, etc. I am not saying that that is specifically one of them, but something isn't adding up.
It’s Pope, the way he runs his program is the issue. JMI deal may hinder things in some cases, but not like this.

In your opinion, what about the way Pope runs his program is scaring the kids off? I do think we had a bunch of knuckleheads on the roster this past season.
To me, he looked like he didn't want to be seen in that photo with the UK shirt. He sure wanted to let everyone know that he was there.

Uconn looks like they're going to bring on Khamenia to play the 4/Karaban role. That would mean out on Freeman, i think. Unless Mullins ain't back and he's gonna play the 3. Who knows.
