I voted 3 times for a guy who likely cheated on his wife, so I won't pretend to have some moral standard that is much higher for some bimbo reporter.

I will say that a woman leveraging her innate advantages for a leg up in her career is a legit issue and hilarious to see it get punished.
One could argue women have an unfair advantage....they can throw their legs up to get a leg up.

It’s literally the only reason I could see why she was pushed out? They obviously didn’t want her to leave - someone had to make the call to push her though.

I am not personally defending their reputation as a corporation. Journalism on that scale is undoubtedly filled with bad actors and I’m confident the political spectrum is 10x worse. It’s amusing to see them grandstand while knowing they are dirty.
Her contract expired in 2 months. I have no idea if they wanted her to leave or not, but if they truly didn't then they are getting to the last stretch with her contract. I also have no clue how journalism contracts work either. But if you have an employee you value and you want them retained, and they want to stay, then it should be a no brainer to get that contract renewed asap.

..haha

...didn't know it at the time, but she was sick, tumor had started to rewire her brain.. not her fault. I hold no ill will towards her, the counselor on the other hand, that guy caused so much damn trouble with that stunt. He can fukc off and die.
So....I know some guys....who are REALLY accurate from VERY far distances.
They are great basketball players. Snipers from the 3 point line. ;) Steph Curry and Pryce Sandfort combined and on roids.

She got called out by the wife a Washington GM back in the day for a story breaking. The tweet said something to the effect - “how many BJ’s did you had to give and did they laugh at you before or after them …”
Yep she has been through a lot of different jobs . She is a typical woman . She got where she is at because she gave it up to lot of people. Bit I still think think this has to do with her on the scoop telling about Max Crosby wanting to play for Mike Vrabel: I think the Athletic and NFL want to know how she came about that information. She resigned because now she doesn’t have to say .

I knew somebody who married somebody he really liked, can't say for sure it was love, but she was very attractive and worth over a mil. Maybe close to 2. I know he loved that part!! Hahaha

..which begs the question, could you marry somebody you only liked, if they were worth bank?
I mean, isn't that what like 90% of women try to do??? Hahaha

If I was a smoking hot girl I would totally marry for money.

..well you'd have tons of options if you were a hot girl..

...average looking guys don't have those opportunities

...so would you marry a girl you only liked, if she had a mil or 2 in the bank?

No...I wouldn't.

I would live with her and bang and use her money if she was cool with that but I would not get married, not in the legal sense. If she wanted to call me her hubby, that would be fine.

but the corporate scoreboard is readers/eyeballs?

you are also talking about the reputation of the NYT (which owns the Athletic) - a propaganda rag that nobody has taken seriously for 5+ years

That's what makes her departure crazy. The media has no standards - they are garbage. So while I believe she is out because of "journalistic integrity" (it used to exist) I fully agree the media is trash (particularly the NYT) and it's hypocritical to act like they have integrity now. I was simply suggesting why she got tossed - valid or not.

I mean, you kind of come out ahead there, right? You paid 5,500, sure, but you didn't have to pay for the funeral, right? So you save some money!

...we had been divorced for a short time by the time she passed. Maybe even a year? ish?

The whole deal sucked honestly...what the fukctard did to our family before she passed will never be fixed. She was sick (again, nobody knew at the time) so her and I are fine, but him? Gawd that man did some damage.

Oh boy...you probably didn't think this story could get any weirder, ammirite? ...then you went and asked that.

His ex wife, who moved back in with him for some reason, showed up at my house and spilled her guts. She knew everything, and was the one who disclosed he had herpes...that's when the background check was run.

I never thought the sarc emoji was needed. But you rarely fail to surprise me.

If she wrote a fluff piece on the Pats - most people would laugh her onto the street.
SuperBig and Kong are an aquired taste, and worth the effort in my opinion. I too may be objectionable at times. I have had back and forths with each.

We just appreciate our collective brilliance and only fight a little now.

I think...most people would not even know who wrote the article.

Very attractive AND was worth bank and he still only liked her?? Her personality must've been soooo annoying or super b*tchy.
