Can’t watch right now either, but a promise isn’t even necessary really. It doesn’t take a genius to see how Iowa operates and assume he is a (the?) top candidate for the HC job after Kirk goes.can’t watch right now, would someone summarize the “why”…has he been promised something by iowa?
He wants to be at Iowa. He and his wife are from Iowa. Big respect and admiration for Kirk, Phil and Normcan’t watch right now, would someone summarize the “why”…has he been promised something by iowa?
Lester makes more sense, He has actual HC experience and success and full coordinator experience and is far more gregarious with Boosters and the Press. When Kirk retires it makes more sense to promote Wallace to full DC and ASST HCCan’t watch right now either, but a promise isn’t even necessary really. 2+2 does, in fact, equal 4.
Seth was chosen as acting head coach when Kirk served his one game suspension.Lester makes more sense, He has actual HC experience and success and full coordinator experience and is far more gregarious with Boosters and the Press. Lester was a new hire at the timeSeth was chosen as acting head coach when Kirk served his one game suspension.
Would not have mattered one bit.Lester was a new hire at the time
What are Lester's credentials? Being fired as head coach at Western Michigan?Wallace has no credentials to be a head coach. If Iowa stays within its ranks to replace KF, Lester would be the clear choice. It's not even close.
He's already the Assoc HC. You can't promote him to a job title he already holds.Lester makes more sense, He has actual HC experience and success and full coordinator experience and is far more gregarious with Boosters and the Press. And its also clear whatever our opinions on the matter are, won't make a darn bit of difference.Wallace has no credentials to be a head coach. If Iowa stays within its ranks to replace KF, Lester would be the clear choice. It's not even close.
DC is a promotion the ASST HC would be a held positionHe's already the Assoc HC. You can't promote him to a job title he already holds.
Kinda like Jan JensenWallace has no credentials to be a head coach. If Iowa stays within its ranks to replace KF, Lester would be the clear choice. It's not even close.
REally, after the season Iowa had, I think JJ did a very good job and the team just shot poorly down the stretch, should have easily beat Virginia with a two more baskets or a few free throws dropping.Kinda like Jan Jensen
He should have said because I am the HCIWDidn’t listen to it so not sure if he mentioned any names but rumor has it Nebraska was one of them and Rhule made a run at him after the year. Wallace the wise man he is said no.
The worst thing about Iowa Everywhere podcasts (aside from the company being started by a Cyclone) is the number of advertisement reads during each show, it's egregious. This is why I'm selective about podcasts. 73 minutes for an answer to one question. No Thanks.
