Really hoping he wins multiple rings with the Thunder. Such a class act and unheralded stud.

But I think McIntosh has a head start on him there.
Unheralded only because he was injured his last two seasons. It certainly wasn't Brooks' fault, but man, do I feel cheated. Can't even imagine how he feels. Brooks was one of NU's best, if not the very best, but sadly, we will never know.
Are you referring to his injury that ended his college career? That was awful but I don’t think we would have made the postseason again even if he had stayed healthy.
Boo Buie is still my #1 all-time, but Brooks is first time all-team for me:

That 24-25 team is definitely a tournament team if fully healthy. That’s including Ty Berry, whose recovery from knee cartilage repair in the spring of 2024 hampered his play well into the fall and early winter.
Oh this is such a rabbit hole, but I can't see Pardon at PF unless he massively upgraded his shooting from more than five feet. Why not use Shurna instead?
Shurna vs Pardon is harder than Brooks vs Martinelli.
I should probably have Billy M over Vic Law now that I think about it.
I just felt that, while Shurna’s offense was amazing, Pardon’s rebounding at points dominated games (especially against Nebraska
) and helped us break the tournament curse (he was a key part of the best play in school history).
Pardon is 6’8 - my height. He is a PF and is still listed as such on Wikipedia.

No he is a quality player on a very cheap contract and they have three supermax guys.
