Not our starting 2 guard, but will be our 6th man. Should just pull the plug and hire Pelphrey to be interm head coach this year. Give the new A.D. a year to get a committee together and search for a coach.
Let Pope play next season out with walk ons and lose every game. Hire a real coach. Save this years NIL budget to have double next year.
I can remember the days when most people thought the school getting the last visit had the best odds of getting a recruit.

People need to accept that it’s time to empty Rupp. Don’t pack Big Blue Madness no matter what nostalgia attempt they try to play. Don’t go to games. Send a clear message that it’s unacceptable

I said pearl soon as cal left but the high & mighty Mitch and Eli have continued to not know what this program is about. I mean they throw around the “moral” code crap but yet Mitch hired Cal……it wasn’t like he had a squeaky clean past even though we know it was Mike Pratt that got him here.
There’s no chance freeman leave UConn and doesn’t commit, that’s how it’s done these days.

I think I actually prefer Goode to Freeman, although I would have been happy for UK to get Freeman. The problem is I don't have any real confidence UK gets Goode either. I'm probably overreacting along with the masses here, but it is what it is and I need to see a big signing to get some hope and excitement back.

I think even the most patient of us have already seen enough in this portal to know he’s just not capable of doing the things necessary to turn it around. We need to end this pronto. There is no point in having essentially a lost season when there are still good players in the portal.

The job of the AD is to see this coming and cut our losses as soon as the season ended. We could have hired Jai Lucas or something and on our way. Every day Mitch proves to be the biggest clown in UK history.

I’m not too far behind …I was ready for that during the season then after cooling down from that miserable season I decided to give Pope a fair shake to start the off season but it’s been awful rough to start
When a coach has plenty of cash, the UK brand, all the playing time someone would want, and these guys are still saying no? What in the dang world is going on in Lexington KY?!

Kid was top 15 coming out of HS - it's more about which coach will squeeze the juice to get to the NBA. Similar to Reed.
Yup - early top 5-6 will be Florida (rumored to be getting Milovic), UConn, Michigan, probably MSU, Duke, Illinois.

Freeman is from Wash,DC area. U CONN PLAYS in Big East - Family can see several games a year in East Coast area. U Conn 2 + hours from NYC.
Freeman worried me because he’s missed almost as many games as he played in with foot injuries.
Stop panicking & let this year play out. Pope is our coach & will be for next 2 years. There are several overachievers still in Portal & more to enter during next week. I’ll take a hungry mid major baller over some of these PrimaDonna wannabe millionaires every day.
Time to recruit Feldhaus & get serious about bringing OO back.
