IOWA will vacate 4 wins (Cade McNamara tampering). Here is the NCAA's statement on Iowa's Rules Violations

Got this off Twitter so can't verify the accuracy of this quote from the University but this part was pretty funny (I may be paraphrasing a bit):

"We understand violations often go unpunished...."

Uhhhh.....yeah. They sure do.

So Iowa State has won 5 out of the last 6 CyHawk games when you count the two forfeits Iowa has for cheating.
"Cheating" Right. I'd love your thoughts on the crap that the NCAA is allowing to go on at most programs with this portal nonsense. As usual its the program trying to do right that gets bent over, because the NCAA doesn't have the sack to actually go after the money making schools. Lets not forget either that McNamera had already been told by Michigan that they would NEVER clear him to play again because he had his surgery in California against their consent. Not sure how exactly Iowa tampered with a player that could NOT return to his previous school. Who EXACTLY was wronged if they talked to him? Michigan? Oh, that's right. One of the blue bloods cash cows. Except they didn't even want the guy on their team anymore. Boy we really screwed Michigan over didn't we....

I actually don’t mind this. Seriously. It’s shows that KF is willing to push the envelope a bit. NCAA is literally a comedy show at this point!

So do the games just have no result in the record books or does ISU technically get the win?
ISU does not get a win as we have been in that position before and it did not give us a win. But ISU can take that loss off their record

Iowa needs to leave the B1G for the Sure Everyone Cheats conference where cheating is rewarded. (Please note the sarcasm 💩is running rampant).

So that's what we get for self reporting the infraction. What a joke. The NCAA KNOWS this is going on all over the country without question. You have guys announcing they're leaving before the portal even opens and there's no tampering. Once again Iowa is the low hanging fruit. Nice of the NCAA to "flex" the rules on us once again. Somewhere Noah Shannon is shaking his head.....
That’s why I was begging Kirk to play him in the B10CG. IIRC the Stalions/Michigan fiasco had just surfaced. The optics of them punishing Iowa for playing Shannon but doing nothing about Michigan would have been interesting.

Yes, huge double standard. But,
Getting busted for tampering to bring in an irreparably damaged QB Michigan didn't want is the most Iowa thing ever.
It would be like getting caught adultering with Roseanne Barr. You should be scorned more for your taste than the cheating.

You really are ignorant. In the same way Iowa was NOT awarded the B1G championship when Michigan was stripped of wins that year, you do NOT get a victory. You get bubkas....
You are factually incorrect. A forfeit is recorded as a loss. Awarding conference championships...is purely a conference decision based on whatever internal criteria that conference uses.

And the moral to the story
This is all because KF capitulated to the "modern offense" crowd. If he had just adhered to the sagacity of a certain poster he wouldn't have been chasing some big-name QB. Just recruit a RB to hand the ball off or keep it himself.

I have always stated that ten yrs or less from now, we will look back on all the violations at Indiana. While that coach is coaching his Jets in the super bowl. Or giants. I dunno why he looks like a NY or NJ type coach

A forfeit in sports is a penalty where a team or athlete LOSES a match automatically.
Moral victory because you lost on the field. What they did did nothing to impact that game. You lost to Cade who was not a great QB like you lost to Petras and you had Purdy, lol!
