IMO if Pope misses out on his first 5 in person visits and we start having to rely on the second tier portal players to put a team together. He shouldn’t survive the summer, go ahead and pull the plug. It’s getting bad you can’t pay a player to come here. Not saying he will but jeez.

From Feb 1 until March 8 (end of the regular season) Brea attempted 104 shots. 67 were 3s. 34 were 2s.

He shot 43 2's over the first part of the season.

In the whole regular season, he attempted more than four 2pt FGs once. And that was against Bama.

In the post season, he shot more than 3 2pt FGs twice. He shot 32 3s.

The whole article talks about his 3s except for the very end where it talks about 1 fadeaway jumper inside the 3pt line.

You're making my own point for me!

I mean, you're not even willing to read the first paragraph.
I even copied and pasted it for you. How dense can you be?

READ THIS

Koby Brea has shown more offensive versatility in recent weeks. Anyone paying attention to Kentucky basketball has noticed it — the sight of Brea driving toward the basket more often, finding an open teammate or finishing the play himself with a crafty move near the rim.
The fifth-year college player has also stepped up his game on the defensive end. His increased intensity on that side of the ball has coincided directly with UK’s team gains defensively, no coincidence as these Cats head into tournament time as more capable stoppers than they have been for much of the season.
But as much as Brea has improved in those areas — and as excited as Mark Pope and the Wildcats’ coaching staff must be by those strides — there remains one aspect of his game that will always stand out above all others.

I can't make this any easier for you. You're not willing to accept proof, even when it's placed right at your feet.

The article literally states the same exact things some of us have been telling you from the beginning.

Dude, Brea was much more versatile by the end of the season than he was at the beginning. Anyone with any basketball knowledge at all could see that. But you're letting your hatred for Pope blind you, and you're proving more and more that you are an insufferable idiot.

I mean, you've said it twice now. Click your heels together and say it a 3rd time, maybe your wish will come true, Dorothy.
He really couldn’t play defense.

Lol, I mean, anyone can write a feel good article with no evidence. However, if you actually read the article, how many times do they mentiones 3s? How many times to they mention 2 pointers or these elite defense plays?

Was the elite defense on the floor against TN in the sw 16? Or in the SEC tournament against Bama?

Literally did, I can't help it you're too dumb to understand it.
You did? Where?

That's number one card fan ignore him. Brea did lots of good things at end of the season for Kentucky last year and improved.
Card fan? I've been a uk fan since Reggie Hanson.
Kobe Brea did get better, but he never once drove on his guy because he's slow. I loved Brea but the truth is the truth
Ignore me all you want clown. Most of the morons on here don't understand what they're looking at on the floor, I just point out the facts

So I'm confused. Is Kobe Brea coming back on a visit and getting a waiver for another year? Or should this useless debate be moved to a different thread?

Are those his stats for the entire year, or after Robinson went down?
Like I said, at the end of the year, KB was much more than just a shooter. He was driving the ball, rebounding and his defense was greatly improved.
Just ask Illinois.
The entire year would give him a bigger sample size to have had more 2 pt attempts.
He was better, but he never drove the ball anywhere man. He made a few crossovers to get a free step on a guy to get a shot off. That isn't driving
I loved Brea, I just wish he could have drove and created in the mid range.

Can we agree to disagree already? It's perfectly acceptable for two people to perceive things at drastically different view points. Not everyone has to side with our opinion or our interpretation of the "facts" and situation.

These guys have to defend their stance, which is "Pope doesn't develop players, so they will never admit that Kobe improved throughout the season, but he did and it's why he and Amari are in the NBA.
These guys ? Bro I'm on your end of topic 90% of time around here. You are just mistaken
Nobody said he didn't get better. But 1 fg a game inside the arc tells the truth. I'll stop posting about it now

No he wasn't
He never once created a shot for himself Inside the paint
He made a couple crossovers n got jumpers from them but it was few
Nobody on that team besides Butler Could beat their man off the dribble. It's literally why we struggled
Yeah guess he was drafted because he had no game. He became a decent rebounder and was going downhill in the paint. He completely expanded his game here especially over the last couple of months.

They even spot lighted that numerous times with reporting . Guess you missed all of that .

Trilly just posted a commitment prediction to North Carolina for Brown.
Brown left UNC without committing. He will likely take his visits to KU and UK.

If he's trying to start a bidding war, I expect UNC to move on. I don't expect Malone to budge on his NIL offer for a player like Brown. He's quick and attacks the rim, but his 3pt shooting and turnovers are both issues. Can't be blowing our NIL budget on a guy like this. You get into bidding wars for the star level players like you guys are doing with Stokes, or like UNC is doing with Juke.

Better keep setting visits, we will close on one sometime in the near future - maybe. But probably need to keep setting visits. This **** is getting out of hand.

Either Mark is the worst closer in the history of recruiting, or every agent knows they can simply use Mark for a bigger offer. Likely both. I’d say they aren’t mutually exclusive.
