It’s exciting. Probably the most unified this board has been in a while. Not a huge Pope guy, but at least he’s busting his ***.

Getting visits is fun and exciting. But being able to close on who you want separates the wheat from the chaff. Pope has done a good job getting these studs to visit, but now he has to prove he can actually get them to commit. I am cautiously optimisic but I'm also not going to get too carried away until I see how it all unfolds. It could still end up being fabulous, it could be meh, or it might be somewhere in between.
It's for sure exciting, but man the crash will be astronomical if Pope strikes out bad on this one.
Hopefully we get a few players and keep the excitement going. Pope is doing all he can, hope it's enough.
Good post. I'm having fun. Went to sleep excited yesterday. Even if he doesn't commit it's good exposure having them on campus and in Rupp. This is the first time in the Pope era I've felt like this. If he can't close on Stokes and bring this excitement all season it'll be disappointing but im enjoying it for now.
Could not agree more. But at least we have hope, no matter how small it is.
When these studs come to campus he just needs to make sure they are playing for the name on the front of the jersey. The best way you can tell that is give them a low ball offer and if they still come, you have your man.
