To the Maroon and White family,

We are pleased to announce our new Mississippi State beat writer, Colin Damms! Colin’s official start date is next Monday, but with his announcement that it’s his last week with his current employer, we felt it made sense to let you all in on the news this week.

Colin is a Starkville native, born and raised as a Mississippi State fan who spent countless weekends watching the Bulldogs at Davis Wade Stadium. He got his start in sportswriting with SB Nation blogs For Whom The Cowbell Tolls and The Busby Babe back in 2017 while in college, and you have probably become familiar with his work since then at the Commercial Dispatch, where he started in 2021. He worked his way up there from part-time preps coverage to becoming the paper’s dedicated MSU sports reporter.

He knows this program, this community and, most importantly, you the fans. We couldn’t be more excited to have him here. Colin will hit the ground running starting next week!

They needed an outsider. Paul and Robbie were too partial to the 247 transfer members. Maybe because of the Gene and Steve trauma they went through together with the posters that followed them from 247. They weren't really overly welcoming to most SPS posters over at TM

I have never gotten the appeal of watching a bunch of men dress up in look at me outfits and tight fitting shorts to fake fight. If they ever bring up wrestling, I do what everyone should do that doesn't like it, just turn it off and don't listen. If a lot of us do that, they will quit broadcasting it but it seems a lot of people still listen and watch all kinds of soap operas. I don't watch Kardashians either but they got rich.

If you dont like it, skip em. And This is from somebody who complains about 15 minutes of ads on a 25 minute podcast.

Believe me, I do "skip em" But if they would skip the rasslin and international soccer talk I would listen

Incoherent babble is what I expect from someone who just got a tag team elbow drop from the top rope straight to their pin head on their pencil neck. Cream rises to the top, and you’re being scraped off the bottom of the mat.
