That reasoning didn’t really make sense. Very few players spend 4 years in college now. Then get drafted high. A four or 5 year college player usually isn’t NBA material. The article makes it sound like guys would stay put 5 years and develop for their NBA career. That’s horse poopie.

I really don't understand the article. I don't really see how anything changes other than we are eliminating all the hoopla of redshirting and applying for a 6th or 7th year, etc. It also eliminates bringing in a 30 year old G-league player. To me, it just simplifies everything. Having said that, why does this affect UK more than any other program?

Give them two max transfers. They all get one no matter one, and only get another if the coach leaves. No exceptions. Give them five years to finish.

I'm all for players getting paid, but they also need to take some accountability with their decisions. If you can't get it right after one transfer, that's on you.
