We had a player pulled after the 1st inning for not running out a pop up? That says everything about why we’re where we are now. No excuse for that.

Pat we agree and disagree all the time but we’re seeing the same bullshizzle.
I like that Oak embarrassed him. I don’t know who we play midweek, but I hope we see several starters sit.
He sat him because he did not meet clearly established expectations from the coaching staff to run out any ball in fair territory in case it is dropped which is rare but does happen. He didn't do that. That sends a message so Oak had to send him one back.
I haven't seen or read the post game presser. Did coach Oak confirm this is what happened?
Yep. Said the ball would have been fair if the 1B hadn't caught it and "that can't happen. I've discussed it with him and he understands. But that's something I can't tolerate."
Additionally now that players are making bank playing a college game, if they don't put forth effort boo the H E L L out of them.
