Supposedly, he got pissed about a beer shower. He had already been walked out once.
I really don’t like either fan base but LSU people take it to another level. I wish some punk fake plantation owner would at least punched that piece of trash LSU fan.
I have been to that dump they call the Box only a couple of times for games. I absolutely never been to a place that fans treated me more ugly/rudely than there. I swore I would never return and I haven’t.

And that justified someone directly pouring a beer on him? Ever heard, "two wrongs don't make a right". Nonetheless one of your fancy boys with a glass jaw just got KTFO. Lovely. Not only got knocked out but gashed open. Too bad it was the wrong boy but the boy that got it was telling him to come on. Be careful what you ask for.

Anyone who wears a visiting team jersey in the outfield there is just asking for it and deserves what's coming to them- beer shower, golden shower, whatever.
The guy who got his lip split got what the beer throwing guy deserved - sometimes you're in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The "beer shower" tradition has to be one of the stupidest in sports. Any guy who would waste a beer like that would go to a minister's funeral dressed in feathers.

Agree. But let this be a lesson to all young guys. If you engage in that type of shlt, sometimes it works for you, sometimes it doesn’t. You throw a beer at somebody it likely won’t end well.
Stay away from troublemakers. We see all these fight videos from late night bar districts, makes me wonder what folks are doing. Don’t put yourself in a situation where you can get your wig split.
Why is a grown man in the student section? The guy was looking for trouble and wouldn’t shock me if something happen in ours if this type of guy showed up.

Look, the corndog was a dubmass for even sitting in the section with his bright yellow jersey. He's even dumber if he mouthed off. Know where you are in away parks/stadiums and respectfully cheer your team, that's it. You're outnumbered and on their turf (though it appears those overwhelming odds didn't help the poor dude that took the fist to the face)
But, I don't blame him for punching the guy, even if it was the wrong one. Play stupid games; win stupid prizes.
