He is probably smart enough to change his offense to fit the team. Pope has demonstrated he is not
You keep saying this but I keep seeing top 50 guys go off the board and none of them to us.
I’m not saying you’re wrong because I don’t know but how would this fly with all the other Adidas schools?
There’s plenty top guys left. We’ll know a lot more by Thursday or Friday.
I can see your point. Maybe you know more than the normal fan. But if you look and read all of the things on the internet, it seems as if a lot of the players pope has repeatedly been in contact with, have moved on.
He has already been here and has had a massive offer for a year. Unless this visit is to seal the deal, what else has changed? I hope we get him 100% but we need players to help him too. We have had a ton of great players visit under Pope. They all end up on other teams. It’s a legitimate complaint.
Mo is the new factor. He was a Nike athlete in the NBA, he is very close friends with Crawford and Stokes has a much higher trust factor with him than previous staff. Mo is the new draw for Stokes. Also our current offer is 1.8 million more than when he last visited last time.

That’s good, I hope it helps. But I wanna know about this whole roster. You seem convinced we are going to land a great class. I’m just not seeing much movement toward that yet.
We shall see. I hope more enter. Millian Momcilovic entered today. He’s a guy we should go all out for. He will be expensive and he may stay in the draft but he is a game changer.
That’s my concern. Obviously we have no idea who he prioritizes or what but a lot of top guys he initially had meetings with went elsewhere, just like last year.
He casts too wide a net. It makes it look like he’ll take anyone, whether or not that’s actually true
I'm pissed about the Rob Wright news. St John's now offering more than UK or a BYU return according to Trilly.
I guess he believes Moreno will be back since he will most likely take his name out of the draft. The next few days will be really interesting. If he gets Stokes to commit, I believe we will be in really good shape. If stokes doesn’t commit? Might get really ugly here.
Other than Stokes, who else do you think that we are in good standing with?

Don't worry guys. Pope is just waiting to get players that want to be at UK for what UK is. I've heard there's a line out the door for those guys.

I’ve told my story on more than one occasion. I’ve also told anyone who will listen I’m not an “insider” and 98% of insiders aren’t insiders either. I just have a career where I run in circles with high profile athletes and work directly with professional teams and major D1 schools. Therefore I hear a lot of things every day, I worked with Kentucky when Cal was around for 3 years and I still have good friends connected closely. I don’t claim to know everything, but this is a message board and I do like to share things as I hear them if it’s relevant to the discussion. At the end of the day I’m a life long Cats fan and always will be.
