Jada Williams possibly visiting Chapel Hill deserves it own thread assuming she doesn't committ to LSU.

The big one. She’s at LSU right now, she’s scheduled to be here tomorrow.

Expect LSU to drop a big bag on her this afternoon. If she doesn’t commit by the end of the night and makes it onto campus— we are supposed to be her final visit.

Sophie Burrows is officially committed

There is our shooter to replace LG. She is taller at 6'2". She can rebound the ball on both ends of the floor from the guard position as well. She our shooters will be Burroughs at 6'2", L. Hull at 6'1" and NB at 6'1. We have a tall guards at the 2 and 3 positions. Kate is our PG. RK can play both. We now need another PG to go along with Kate and RK. I hope Williams will hold off from signing with LSU and come tomorrow as plan. If I was her, I would love to play with Kate H. This staff has done an amazing job in the portal again in a short amount of time. Way to go CB, staff, etc. Welcome to the family Akot and Burrow.

Stanford now has 7 in the portal including 4 starters and a 5th who played double digit minutes. Swain is the only returning starter. With two other rotational players graduating they are down 9 total. They have two hs recruits coming in and so far no portal additions.

5-6 Sr G Jada Williams commits to LSU yesterday. 5-7 Jr Jada Richard from LSU enters the portal today with a "do not contact" tag. starter, 26 mpg, 9.5ppg, 3.3 apg. This is the first LSU loss of significance, similar to us losing Grant.

no inside info here obviously, but this seems like a direct cause-and-effect when your starting G gets recruited over. With that said, I do think it is a moderate net gain for LSU, but they are trading two years of eligibility for one.

One week after Mulkey said everyone was returning, there are 4 in the portal. LOL at Mulkey of course; I think she is still getting used to her diminished ability to bully her players in this modern era. But the main takeaway is that portal season is crazy.
