She was a good defender, but you have to provide something on O. She couldn’t handle the ball for **** & 1-22 hurts the team.Yes but Kylies role was defensive stopper. No different than Pretty eyes![]()
Exactly. Both schools fired their coaches so I'd give her a pass at this point....But remember both of her moves were due to coaching changes.
McKenna Woliczko, say it with me, McKenna Woliczko! She will be our 4. She can score from all three levels which will support our 4 out offense, has a great midrange jump shot, can rebound and has a very high basketball IQ. You always find something to whine about.I’m not completely sold on TS as starting at 3. She’s 5-9 so it’s more of a 3g offense. But having a dynamic 2g may take more burden off her.
The bigger issue is who starts at 4.
Beth will know what to doDoesn't use left hand on layups! Need to do better Jan!
But remember both of her moves were due to coaching changes.
And she tells the truth.
Though, she did average 33 minutes last season. An interesting stat regarding Carnegie vs. Deal, Feuerbach, Levin and Mallegni combined. She averages 17.8 points per game vs. their combined 13.2. She averaged 5.8 rebounds vs. 5.2 rebounds for them combined. Dani is a heck of a get for the Hawks. Tip of the hat to coach Barrett.
Agree, in this age, she must be allowed to play or she will just transfer like Deal and the rest of the top freshmen. At least let her start thru non-con to get her feet under her. Show her our commitment to her game and let her fly!McKenna Woliczko, say it with me, McKenna Woliczko! She will be our 4. Finally? It has been less than a week.finally some good news from the portal
Understood, but it seems much longerFinally? It has been less than a week.
If the wackadoos on this board get their wish she'll get to keep that streak alive next year. But remember both of her moves were due to coaching changes.
Definitely adds something the team did not have this year.Doesn't use left hand on layups! Need to do better Jan!
IMO the best players should play. Period. Freshmen, sophomores or whatever. Deal got plenty of minutes, but she wasn't good enough so she didn't start after those 3 games and she didn't merit any assurance going forward when there were better players available. I have no problems with how that was handled.Agree, in this age, she must be allowed to play or she will just transfer like Deal and the rest of the top freshmen. Jan's not going anywhere. If the wackadoos on this board get their wish she'll get to keep that streak alive next year.
Yep. She scored 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists in 43 minutes of playing time of their overtime loss to Virginia.Come on, she's in Carver a month ago playing.
I was at the game. I didn't pay attention to any of the players except Kymora Johnson. Shame on me!Yep. She scored 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists in 43 minutes of playing time of their overtime loss to Virginia.
My comment was not knocking Iowa staff in any way. I have been watching multiple Iowa players portal and thus finally some good news. Does everything stated on this board have to be dissected to search for some inferred/supposed slight.Understood, but it seems much longer
Same here. Carnegie was 0-7 on 3-pointers. So just a bad day.I was at the game. I didn't pay attention to any of the players except Kymora Johnson. Shame on me!
Well that will be Jan’s fault when she comes to Iowa. Anon and the rest will make sure of it.Same here. Carnegie was 0-7 on 3-pointers. So just a bad day.
Yes. Yes it doesMy comment was not knocking Iowa staff in any way. I have been watching multiple Iowa players portal and thus finally some good news. Does everything stated on this board have to be dissected to search for some inferred/supposed slight.
She was probably worn down at the end of the season. I've heard that's a pretty big thing with these players. It happened to Stremlow ya know.Well that will be Jan’s fault when she comes to Iowa. Anon and the rest will make sure of it.
She did. Add the minutes of KF, Deal, Mallegni, and Levin together and it comes to 45mpg. Add in McCabe and that number balloons to 72 minutes and the PPG is still only 21ppg or just 3 points more than Carnegie averaged.Though, she did average 33 minutes last season.
