This seems good. Someone that can average 16'ish points per game in the SEC should show up in the box score for us, I would think. I feel like it would be good to also get a taller cager too. But nice pick up.
This is huge. She is exactly what we needed and exactly what we were missing last year.
Just replaced a guard that never scored 20 points in 5 years with an All SEC guard that scored 20+ points 13 times last year alone as a sophomore. I'm gonna stick my neck way out there and call this an upgrade.
We don't get her if we still have Deal, so thats the one to compare to.

Oh I agree that Deal probably had to go, but its Kylie's minutes that she'll be taking next year. That's the same Kylie that went 1 for 22 the last 4 games of the year.

It would seem recruiter LaSondra Barrett is killing it.
Based on the way she played tonight, MW might be the 3/4 answer.
Jan was quoted yesterday saying that Taylor is more suited to play the 3. I think JJ knew Carnigie was coming.
A few back ups and were settled at 1, 2, and 3.

I’m not completely sold on TS as starting at 3. She’s 5-9 so it’s more of a 3g offense. But having a dynamic 2g may take more burden off her.
The bigger issue is who starts at 4.
I know you're not, and that's ok. She's 5-10 and a true 3 level scorer that can take it to the rim, a much better fit at the 3 than McCabe ever was.
I still think the plan is for Journey and McKenna to alternate at the 4, but we'll see how things shake out.
Deal was more interested in the money & playing time.

Reading between the lines is Emely wanted to improvise on the floor and Jan wasn’t having it.
