I know we’re all excited, and rightfully so, but am I the only one who thinks that Caden should be our Sunday starter? He is nails! Pure ice in his veins.

Massive and pivotal win! Just find a way to take this series tomorrow. So many blown opportunities, yet they kept fighting! Proud to be a Tar Heel!

Having Glauber pitching relief is such a weapon especially if he can be used 2 days in NCAA's. Having him as a starter would be awesome too!!

I like Glauber where he is. Similar to how they used Trent Thornton his freshman year and even Lynch some last year. He’s there to fill in for any starter on days when they may not have their best stuff. Or can shut a game down like Yamamoto in the WS last fall.

I said in the top of the eighth inning before we batted on this thread this was still winnable.....there were damn few believers. THIS TEAM IS SPECIAL.
There I was sitting in my chair on the beach and watching on my phone while I ignored the grandkids playing in the sand. I finally gave up (on waiting it out, not on the Heels), and came in. Watched the 10th in the shower with a beer and the rest with supper. It was a great day.

Thanks, Diamond Heels!

When Clemson had the bases loaded in the 10th with 1 out I had this post typed out about how you can’t win every coin flip game forever and we were due to lose one. Oh well!

I was at Academy when that game started. I checked out, drove home, chilled for over an hour, drove 30 minutes, watched a coach pitch game, went out to dinner, and was a quarter mile from getting home when we got the last out. Maybe I should have just went to Clemson instead.

Glauber is not a closer. 101 pitches? Put him in the weekend rotation.

No one else is hitting, French stays in LF
If we put him in the rotation, who's pitching 100 pitches out of the pen?

Also, I'm not sure if our pen is deep enough to withstand Glauber not being in it.

Not sure we win the series last weekend if Glauber wasn't in the pen. And definitely wouldn't have a chance to win the series this weekend.

I think I'd give Chewy a chance to start on Sunday before I take Glauber out of the pen.

But obviously if we're in the postseason and we need to win a game, you go to Glauber if he's available

Lynch goes to the pen if Glauber starts IMO. And it wouldn’t really be his fault. He just profiles to help us most out of the pen.

I’m not 100% sure what the right answers are but I’m most sure the wrong answer for Glauber is Sunday starter. We can’t get to the postseason and him not be on the mound the first 2 games. I’d lean towards Saturday starter right now. If we had a 1-0 game in a regional tomorrow, I’d want him starting it. Though I understand if we don’t make that change.
