Throwing someone out by 4 steps from that shallow is not a hard throw for a college player, coming from a college player

Had to send him. No guarantee of another inning and French isn’t doing anything to get him home (hoping for a reverse jinx and he gets a leadoff hit here)
At this point, we're wasting some clutch pitching. Hope we can push something across the plate.
You're waving him before the relay is made so you're giving the runner a chance to score vs. catch/throw/catch/tag....definitely worth the gamble
i think Glob may be approaching his limit to be available for tomorrow ... based on several past comments from Forbes on Glob's recovery for back-to back days

I'm fine with that take. And ill just say it wasn't even close. He probably wasn't even to 3rd yet when he was about to throw. And I'll say French had some clutch hits last year. But I digress and he was out by a mile lol

Gallaher batting .276 and our record is what it is. He will heat up, hope it's soon.

It’s blunt to say and there’s still plenty of season left but the guy we expected to be our best hitter just hasn’t been close to good enough.
I love our boys, we all do, but the fact that we can’t get it done when our 17 year-old pitcher is trying to will us to a win is really frustrating.
