While I'm not advocating for NU to bring him back, nor expressing regret that he transferred out as I intuit that Collins was all-in on Tre Singleton at the 4, and with Nick logging iron man minutes, unsure how Blake would've gotten the chance.

That being said - good on him for putting in a year to earn 3rd Team All-SoCon. Good luck to him finding a solid spot - perhaps at a mid-major?

My favorite former NU reference in the portal so far this year ...

I forget whether the kid only committed to NU. Or did he actually enter school and change his mind?

@Sec_112 Bruh, that's yet another humbling example of the passage of time. I totally remember us dreaming on this dude, and he ended up rolling with Seton Hall for 2 years before transferring to GW.

I believe he was only a commit and left with the coaching change.

Worth noting that against Dayton, he had 21 on 8-14 (2-3 from 3) with 6 RB and 1 AST.

Against UNC he had 11 pts on 4-8, but only 2 RB. He could probably average 10 against the B1G.

Maybe developmental programs should't let freshman play at all so no one knows if they are worth picking up from the portal. Most freshman need to get stronger and learn the systems (especially NU's D) anyway. As sophomores they would be more mature contributors and you would only have to pay them their Jr and Sr years to stay.

Who isn’t a moron? You seem to know a lot about these kids and what their future holds.
1) He’s not a pro. 2) All his transfers make graduation much, much less likely bc of credit issues. 3) He’s not making big NIL money anyways. So, yes, he’s a moron. Thanks.

Worked out pretty well for us with Cade B!
